01 The Wall

Our Story

Tuscaloosa needed an original craft beer store. So we built one.

Loosa Brews opened December 2014 as Tuscaloosa's first dedicated craft beer destination — a bottle shop, a growler-fill station, an on-premise tap room, and a wide-open arcade, all under one roof. We've been pushing the local craft scene forward ever since.

Our tap wall stays in motion: sixty-three lines, never the same two weeks running, with at least thirty pours dedicated to Alabama breweries. Whatever's on, we'll pour it for here, fill a growler, or cap a Crowler for the road.

Out back, our covered patio runs string lights from spring through Iron Bowl. Bistro tables, red umbrellas, fresh pours, low conversation. It's the slowest-moving spot in downtown — by design.

Bring a book, bring a friend, bring the dog. Stay an hour. Stay 'til close. The taps are right inside if you need a refill.

The Arcade · The Pinball Parlor

Quarter up.

Pinball machines in a row down the back wall, classic cabinets along the side, dartboards, and a sound system tuned for Friday night. Pour a pint, queue a flipper, and forget what time it is.
